Had a lovely time dining out at a brand new restaurant in Atlanta called, Yalda! Yalda means rebirth of the sun, the longest night of the year in the Iranian calendar. Yalda serves Persian cuisine and it’s a family-owned business tucked away in West Midtown. It’s the newest hot spot just opening it’s doors a few weeks ago. We walked in and was blown away with the electric atmosphere filled with patrons having a good time. I even saw a few birthday parties in progress lol. The music was playing and the crowd was vibing, the staff was extremely friendly!
We were quickly seated in an upstairs dim lit area that overlooked the entire restaurant, great view and great selection if you’re on a date! Very private and intimate for sure! After ordering, our drinks arrived with yummy appetizers that were very flavorful. We couldn’t decide on what we wanted so we asked our waiter to give us a few selections of his choice. He provided a few options from the menu that were very popular and some of his favorites. His recommendations were very good by the way.
We both enjoyed the hummus, falafel, saffron shrimp, salmon and beef kabobs with fava beans n rice, so good! This place would be great for a company outing, birthday celebration or date night, its very inviting and lively! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan on visiting again! See some of the snaps inside and stop by if you’re in the area or plan on visiting soon!
