I normally do not talk about menswear fashions at all but I went to see Creed III yesterday afternoon because a red carpet/special screening will take place here in Atlanta today and the cast will be here as well. I had to watch the movie early so that I would know what to ask them at the event.
This marks Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut who also stars in the film. That’s when I noticed the impeccable wardrobe styling by Lizz Wolf! She is known to capture the essence of so many characters in movies but this one right here, she knocked it out the park! The looks definitely caught my attention!
In the film, Adonis Creed (Jordan) has been a dominant force in the world of boxing and seen his family life thrive. But then a former boxing prodigy and childhood friend of Creed’s, Damian (played by Majors) shows up after serving a prison sentence wanting to prove that he deserves a shot in the boxing ring.
This is Wolf’s second installment as a costume design for the franchise Creed and I’m sure she totally understands each characters role. It just seems as though she took the two character’s style to a whole different level.
From the details with the boxing robe, the leather boxing shorts to the tailored suits that Adonis wears, it was executed and done very tasteful. Bianca’s style is elevated this time around and is effortless. Her fashion sense makes you want to do a google search in your seat asking, what is Bianca wearing? Her fashion looks are attainable and relatable too. Not overdone just simple and classic. See some of my favorite looks from the movie inside, job well done Lizz!
