The other night, the Verizon Foundation hosted Zendaya and Academy Award Nominee, Rory Kennedy, for her newest film,WITHOUT A NET: THE DIGITAL DIVIDE IN AMERICA, A NEW DOCUMENTARY. The night kicked off with Zendaya, the passionate advocate for education whose parents have taught on both sides of the digital divide, and ambassador for Verizon’s #weneedmore campaign, walked the carpet and mingled with the 10 year old student featured in film from East Harlem, Amanda Acevedo. Rose Stuckey Kirk, Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer and President of the Verizon Foundation, joined Amanda to teach her how to pose in front of all the cameras.
