The National Board of Review hosted their annual awards gala on Thursday night, hosted by Willie
Geist, to celebrate the art of cinema, with categories that include Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor
and Actress, Best Original and Adapted Screenplay, Breakthrough Performance, Best Directorial Debut,
and Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography. This year, the National Board of Review established
a new award category, Outstanding Achievement in Stunt Artistry, to celebrate the accomplishments
and work of stunt artists.
Teyana received an award for her breakthrough performance for A Thousand and One. The award was presented by A.V. Rockwell. Did she look stunning or what???? I LOVE her red pixie haircut that she accented with rosey makeup and gold accessories! The shoes were amazing and very avant garde just like her!
