Reality Star and Entrepreneur Nicole Richie stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the other night! She talked about her love for animals and giving them unique names, being backstage at her dad Lionel Richie’s concerts as a child and being excited to film Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead.
Richie, known for her roles in reality TV and fashion, has some interesting facts: Nicole was adopted by singer Lionel Richie and his then-wife Brenda Harvey-Richie when she was 9 years old. She is also best friends with Paris Hilton. She gained widespread fame through “The Simple Life,” a reality TV show alongside Paris Hilton, where they lived a “simple” life on a farm.
Their friendship became iconic during the early 2000s. Richie launched her own fashion brand called “House of Harlow 1960,” named after her daughter, in 2008. The brand features jewelry, accessories, and apparel. She has authored several books, including “The Truth About Diamonds” and “Priceless,” both of which are semi-autobiographical novels. Richie is also involved in various charitable causes, including environmental issues and breast cancer awareness. Aside from reality TV, Richie has appeared in various TV shows and movies, including “Chuck” and “Great News.
