On Monday night, American Idol started its new season and it was full of fun! It was the audition performances and lots of memorable moments I seen. Here’s the rundown….Haven Madison who’s 16, song her original song, “Fifteen” for a golden ticket! Lucy Love wanted to win American Idol for her kids, Colin Stough sang “Simple Man” and celebrated his mom, shy singer Lyric Medeiros got a tough lesson from Katy & Luke.
Burger flipper Zachariah Smith was told to quit his job for Idol, Iam Tongi made the judges cry with his emotional story and song, Katy was left smitten after Michael Williams audition, Christian singer Danielle got the surprise of a lifetime, Tyson Venegas sang the best New York State of Mind audition cover and Kya Monee performed a tearful tribute to Willie Spence.
During the show, Katy wore a satin pink rosette top and a gold sequins pants to watch all the fun auditions. I totally loved the pop of color, it came together so well. The top was embellished with rhinestones and I loved it! See more photos and the designer label of the look inside…
