I’m so excited, we have a new President and that’s Joseph R. Biden and the First African and Indian American Woman Vice President (that made history) Kamala Harris, wow! It was definitely a historical day! It was also an iconic moment in fashion. The Vice President Kamala Harris, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and former First Lady, Michelle Obama, Poet Amanda Gorman all wore jeweled toned colors.
It was all about monochrome silhouettes and the look of the day. Mainly, we saw the shade of purple and that is said to symbolize a sense of solidarity, and unity. I have a breakdown on what they all wore inside and again, I’m so glad that we can finally get a fresh start! Congrats to all of them!

Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman wore a yellow Prada coat (Spring 2021), a white poplin shirt, black leather skirt and red headband. Oprah also gifted her with earrings and ring that was shaped like a caged bird as a tribute to Maya Angelou!
