Fantasia Barrino rose to fame as the winner of the third season of American Idol in 2004. Her powerful voice and soulful performances captured the hearts of viewers across the country.
She was born on June 30, 1984, in High Point, North Carolina, and grew up in a musical family, singing in church from a young age.
Fantasia’s debut single, “I Believe,” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the first artist in history to achieve this with a debut single.
