Wardrobe Breakdown: Emma Stone Red Strapless Dress On Jimmy Fallon

Actress Emma Stone sat down with Jimmy Fallon recently to talked about splitting her dress at the Oscars during Ryan Gosling’s “I’m Just Ken” performance, how dancing on the set of Poor Things inspired her Kinds of Kindness dance and going through scuba training to prepare for the film.

Emma Stone’s real name is Emily Jean Stone. She changed it to Emma because the name “Emily Stone” was already taken when she registered with the Screen Actors Guild.

She started acting as a child in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was born and raised. Emma convinced her parents to let her move to Hollywood at the age of 15 to pursue acting.

Her breakthrough role was in the 2007 comedy “Superbad,” where she played Jules, Jonah Hill’s love interest. Emma Stone won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “La La Land” (2016).

She has also done voice acting, including playing Eep in the animated film “The Croods” and its sequel. Emma made her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in the revival of “Cabaret” in 2014.

Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have co-starred in three films: “Crazy, Stupid, Love” (2011), “Gangster Squad” (2013), and “La La Land” (2016). Their on-screen chemistry has been widely praised. She played Gwen Stacy in “The Amazing Spider-Man” (2012) and its sequel, opposite Andrew Garfield.

Although she’s known for her red hair, Emma is actually a natural blonde. She dyed her hair red at the suggestion of Judd Apatow for her role in “Superbad.” Emma is involved in various charitable causes, including supporting organizations like Stand Up to Cancer and the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.

On the show I LOVED her red strapless ruffle dress, the color just beamed on her skin! I had NO clue that Emma is really blonde! I would love to see that one day lol! More photos inside and a video clip with also the designer of her look!

Emma wore a Brandon Maxwell dark cherry lacquered viscose inverted ruffle dress with marble heart belt from the Resort 2025 Collection and Louis Vuitton sandals, styled by Petra Flannery, pretty!
