Actress Angela Bassett attended the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever World Premiere at the El Capitan Theatre yesterday evening in Hollywood, CA. She hit the purple carpet looking amazing and I just love this woman! She just captures the elegance of any event and her stylist does wonders with her red carpet looks, my gosh! From the big hair to the makeup and jewels, the pleated metallic fuchsia strapless tiered gown, Bassett brought the heat and everyone was turning their heads to see this gorgeous beauty!
Fun Fact: At the first premiere of Black Panther, I was seated in the audience right next to Angela and her family. I was fan girling for sure but I kept my composure lol! Her twins are adorable too by the way! She is really a nice lady, I enjoyed chatting with her and her husband Courtney!
I got a chance to screen this most anticipated film last night and on the screen, Angela does a great job and captivated the audience, she pulls you in to her character, she is a true talent for sure! In the sequel, Bassett portrays Wakanda’s Queen Ramona, mother to the late King T’Challa. You will see her dressed to the nines in African garbs and see her in a way that you have not seen her previously! I don’t want to give too much away but yes, she has a few memorable scenes!
