How was your Valentine’s Day? Honestly, I wasn’t too concerned about doing anything special. I just wanted to relax and enjoy the weekend, especially since Valentine’s Day fell on a Friday. Now that I’m a bit older, doing absolutely nothing sounds pretty perfect, haha! But my partner had other ideas, so we ended up going out for dinner, which was fine with me. He’s a bit of a romantic, so I couldn’t complain.
Valentine’s Day can go in all sorts of directions for people. Some make a huge deal out of it, while others couldn’t care less. For me, though, it’s one of my top three favorite holidays, so I do care especially if I’m in a serious relationship. I’ve seen people online say that if someone doesn’t do anything for you on Valentine’s Day, it means they’re not really into you, and honestly, I kind of agree. If they know it’s your favorite holiday and still do nothing… that’s a big red flag!
