I recently had the pleasure of giving my two cents about blogging to a long-time friend and film maker Gavin “Truck” Turner. It was the end of last summer when he called me, asking me how I felt about being apart of his documentary on blogging. Gavin and I go way back and when I had my cable access show ‘Talking With Tami’, he was my floor director. I was very excited that he wanted me to be apart of his project. Gavin shadowed me around for a few days to my red carpet events and we did a sit down interview where he asked me a series of questions. As you guys know that have been visiting my blog frequently, it can be so much fun but stressful at times. I really love blogging because it let’s me be as creative as I want to be, free and give you guys good information and the tea ha! In the film there is other bloggers that I see that make a guest appearance like my buddy Donna/Brown Girl Next Door, Lexi/Lexi With The Curls, Gyant/GyantUnplugged, Freddy/FreddyO and many more.
I personally find blogging very relaxing and it’s my full time job. If you truly love blogging or are just starting out, it can be so worthwhile. The red carpet events that I have covered, guest appearances on tv shows, ad campaigns with major brands and so much more would not have been possible if I didn’t have my blog! I want to give Gavin a special shout out for including me and please support him by posting this video and watching. Gavin is a up-and-coming film maker and he is trying to get funding for this documentary. With blogging we have helped so many celebrities careers, broke news stories when national news didn’t know and featured people that other media outlets wouldn’t even consider! Blogging also has it’s drama as well within our circle, if you follow me on twitter you know what I mean. Blogging still needs a voice and now with tv producer Mona Scott Young producing a new show called, ‘The Gossip Game’ the sky is the limit for us!
