So as you know last week I was out in Las Vegas covering the annual Soul Train Awards. Talk show diva Wendy Williams made an announcement on her show that she would be hosting and producing her show on the carpet which was a first! Fans were very excited to hear this news.
I just so happen to be positioned next to the stage where all the action was taking place. Wendy looked very nice as she made her way down the carpet to get to her station. She came with about 15 people plus her glam squad that almost took up our little space next to her lol. They also had two attorneys standing in the way blocking our view with papers in hand, just in case. Why I don’t know but I’m thinking they were talent release forms they were holding. Wendy wore an elegant evening gown with flats but quickly changed into a pair of Christian Louboutin tan Pigalle heels when she got to her interview seat. The fans that were positioned behind the barricades screamed her name throughout the whole event and she smiled and did a few “How You Doins” she was very pleasant. I was really surprised to see so many celebrities hit her stage for one on one interviews since she has made a few of them mad, but they didn’t seem to mind.
TWT TEA: What was too funny and got a lot of chuckles was when her hubby (who acts as her bodyguard too) came from behind her wearing a very weird looking outfit. It was so 80’s and everyone in the press pit was cracking up. Kevin tries so hard to be tough but it actually comes off so corny! All in all, she did a great job and I think you can watch her do a few of these interviews on her show December 1st or 10th. She kept yelling it out but I couldn’t really hear her thoroughly because it was very loud. Here are a few snaps I took too. Till next time. xoxo
