A friend of mine was doing her weekly grocery shopping here in Atlanta when she noticed a very familiar face. It was non other than Neffeteria “Neffe’ Pugh. If you are not familiar with her face or name, than you may remember her on BET’s ‘Keyshia Cole, The Way It Is’ reality show a few years ago, then her own spin-off show ‘Frankie & Neffe’. She is also an author, mom, wife. That’s not the tea though, come inside for more!
TWT TEA: Remember yesterday when I posted about me not attending the launch party for The New Atlanta event because everybody and their mama was in attendance in the city?(click here to read) Well guess who was there? Yes Neffe hit up the blue carpet dressed to the nines smiling for the cameras and all the photographers was loving her and snapping away! Then do you guys remember me posting about reality stars and how they aren’t really as popular and respected as people like to think?(click here to read) Welp, homegirl has a lil secret(I don’t think she is the kind of person that really cares if you know this either). Were you guys aware that she works full time at Sam’s Club, way out in the boonies? Chile I’m not dogging her out for having a job because hell I need a better dental plan, but it just goes to show you when the spotlight dims after doing reality tv, what are you going to do? That’s right get a J.O.B.!
Here this diva was just on the carpet the other day posing for cameras but the next day she is at the cash register ringing up customers groceries! A lot of my friends in the media that took her pics distributed the photos to sites but hardly anyone used her on their blogs. If reality stars aren’t out fighting and cussing somebody out, nobody cares! If you are going to sign a contract and act a fool on national television for the world to see, you better milk that 15 minutes and be very business savvy or atleast hire the right folks that can further your career! Take Nene Leakes and Bethenny Frankel for an example! They were smart cookies! You have to think intelligently people, if you are going to do reality tv and have a bigger plan and dream. Here is a perfect example of another reality star that got a reality check! Be wise in your decisions, be sure, be smart! Till next time! xoxo
