Last night actress/singer Demetria McKinney celebrated the release of her video “100” featuring Da Brat at Atlanta’s Harlem Night Club. Several celebrities were in attendance including: RHOA Porsha Stewart, Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Peter Thomas, and Apollo Nida, LHHATL MiMi Faust, Atlanta Radio Personality Eboni Steele and Claudia Jordan (Rickey Smiley Morning Show). TWT TEA: It’s heavily rumored here in Atlanta that Actress/Singer Demetria McKinney is trying out to be the newest cast member of the hit reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. That’s why you see all of the cast in attendance except NeNe Leakes who was M.I.A. I’m sure that she was out of town promoting her new clothing line though.

Demetria has always been a nice young lady and has treated me with the upmost respect! She recently fired “most” of her team and started off fresh! She revamped her style, makeup, hair and branding this year and now I see why! She is auditioning to hold that peach! Welp, if the rumors are true, that she is truly testing to be on the show, I hope she breaks out of her shyness. She is rather quiet on the scene here. Those girls are pretty chatty and full of drama, I hope she can hold her own lol. Perhaps we will see another side to her, not sure. You may remember her on Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns. I like her!

Tv/Radio Personality Claudia Jordan.

We go waaay back and I interviewed her many years ago at the Playboy Mansion out in Los Angeles when she was on Deal No Deal. She was also just hired to be the new radio personality on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show that is based here. She is working and always has, I will say that she has a great management team behind her! Go Claudia, I don’t know how I like her being on the show though but time will tell.

Oh by the way…Do you guys remember the background characters from last season? I don’t remember half of them either lol but it was Chuck and his wife and Christopher Williams and his estranged wife. They won’t be back this season but that’s how networks have decided to shake up new seasons now. So it’s every man for himself! You’re considered a “background character”(no pay) until you prove yourself worthy of holding that peach! Then if you show your tail and coon enough, then you might get a contract! So is that why Claudia is also moonlighting over at the radio station too? Keep some extra coins coming in while she fakes living here as an Atlantan? Chile Bye! Smart move I guess but I don’t know if I would sign up for that!

I was invited out to Demetria’s event last night but I just didn’t have the energy to go. I’m in a cranky mood(can you tell) and I’m glad that I stayed my tail home because I probably would have been snapping at folks. Plus Bravo was filming and I heard that you couldn’t take any pics/selfies with any of the cast and if you did, you had to hold the images till the show aired. WTH? I would have been pissed off and left! Why invite “media” out and you can’t cover nothing? I’m slowly steering away from covering a lot of the reality stuff thats taped here because it’s always too much drama and red tape involved for me. I’m kinda over it!
