On July 29th, my daughter Tyra and I headed to downtown Atlanta for the Toyota Entrepreneurial EnTOURage Roundtable and Dinner held at Russell Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. It was a lively crowd full of hand selected members from the Atlanta area. During the event, there were discussions on how each person became an entrepreneur, what inspired them and more. It was such a great conversation and I definitely learned a lot.
I can’t remember the last time I have actually worked for someone and have always had the entrepreneurial spirit in my veins. I can remember back in my 20’s when I opened my very own Nails By Tammie nail salon in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Being the CEO of your own company is hard work and not for everyone but I took the leap of faith and never looked back. Now the owner of Talking with Tami I plan on doing more with what I’ve learned over the years. I was glad to share some of the things I’ve done with my peers at the event. Enjoy a few snaps from the affair and thanks to Toyota for picking me to be apart of something so needed and great!
