My birthday is coming up in just two months and I’m not happy about it! They come fast after you turn 40, I noticed that! Me and my bestie laughed so hard about things we did when we were younger saying, “boy if I had the attitude I have now, I would have told such and such off!” See when you get older, which we all will do at some point lol, you look at life differently! I was a good kid, respectful, very reliable and mature teen and as I went off to college, I was a wild child!
My Granny NuNu told me a long time ago, when you are young, you want all the friends in the world! When you get older, you get rid of them for any little thing because you just don’t have the patience anymore! I have learned so much about me and it tickles my spirit! I have grown a lot of patience over the years and I also have learned to just shut up and listen. I hardly stress my personal opinion anymore, it doesn’t really help or matter. Things that are not important, I shrug off and what is, I give my all. I keep my circle small and my true friends close. Here are some things I’ve learned about me over the years!
You really only need about two good friends throughout your life!
I absolutely hate unreliable people, you know those that promise you things and drop the ball!
I’ve learned to walk away from my kids and go in my room and shut my door, instead knocking them the hell out!
I think I still got it(in my brain ofcourse) because my ex’s still trying to holla! Whoa!

I do not own but about 2 pair of jeans, 1 pair of dress slacks in my closet but 100’s of dresses! Wow!
I still love the color pink but hardly wear it anymore, wonder why?
I need new furniture but I have teens and they do not take care of stuff, waiting for them to move out, to redecorate! LOL!
The best investment I’ve ever made was buying a great bed!
