This evening I went to a pinktastic grand opening located right down the road from me. Atlanta’s housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell was the host for the evening. Business womenpreneur LaTonya Saunderson is the owner of The Weave Shop.

This full service salon is her 8th venture and she plans on opening more. She is best known for doing sew in weaves starting at 50.00. Her new loctation is in Lawrenceville, Ga but she has salons in Michigan, and New Jersey too. If you’re in the market, LaTonya also offers franchise opportunities.
LaTonya is working on manufacturing her own hair line and taping a reality show. Wow she is a very busy lady,my goodness!

The salon was so cute and was decorated with a lot of pink! You know I was loving that lol. Many fashionistas came out to support LaTonya and her good friend Sarah Stokes from Making the Band 2.

Friends out to support
They both grew up in Detroit,Michigan and Sarah was quoted as saying that, “we go way back, we use to call LaTonya, “Tonka” when she was a rapper” lol. They have supported each other through the years and she was happy to fly out from Los Angeles where she resides now with her 3 children. Sarah is working on a new single to come out late this fall.

I asked her how did she like working with PDiddy and she said, it was the best experience of her life. She told me she was also wearing a Cache dress with BeBe stiletto shoes.

The party was very nice and everyone loved the pink decor in the salon. The food was very good and the cake was too yummy ! It was made by Chris who owns MeleCotte.
