It was a memorable evening that unfolded on Friday, August 11th, at the Spaceman Atlanta Hyatt Centric Buckhead. In collaboration with PUMA, The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) celebrated Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary with the “ATL LOVES HIP-HOP” event. This special occasion was dedicated to honoring the legendary Antwan ‘Big Boi’ Patton of the Grammy Award-winning group Outkast.

It was a truly unique evening celebrating the impact that Hip Hop has had on streetwear, sneakers, music, fashion, and culture. The specialty footwear and lifestyle retailer, unveiled a custom TAF x PUMA interactive activation, paying homage to 50 years of hip-hop, was unveiled. Guests were treated to fun Instagrammable moments and, in the spirit of appreciation, received exclusive PUMA suedes and special Hip Hop’s 50th PR Kits upon their exit.
The event was attended by prominent local figures including Council member Byron Amos, State Representative Park Cannon, Zoë Baker, DJ Loui Vee, Dona Mathews, Supreme the DJ, ILL Wink, DJ Nabs, and Cut master Swiff.
