Actress Taraji P Henson is in the latest pages of People magazine’s Pre-Emmy Issue. In her interview she talks about growing up wanting to be an actress, her character Cookie Lyons, her recent Emmy Nomination and more! For the shoot, she also wore a custom pink sequins slip gown designed by Tom Ford.
“Growing up, it was rare for me to see a woman that looked like me that inspired me,” the actress, 44, says in the latest issue of PEOPLE. “So it was very important for me to portray Cookie. I didn’t want to [screw] it up.”
