Emmy Award-winning nationally syndicated daytime talk show “Tamron Hall” returned for a fifth season today, Tuesday, September 5, and Tamron kicked things off with a bang. At the top of the show, GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Macy Gray performed her song “Every Night” alongside rapper Maino.
Tamron also celebrated Gray’s birthday with a special cake. Following an on-air marriage proposal for former “Tamron Hall” guests Liz Hilliard and Lee Kennelly and vacation giveaways for single mother and cancer survivor Mayln Teah and grandmother-grandson duo Grandma Joy and Brad Ryan, “Tamron Hall” executive producer Quiana Burns graciously interrupted Hall’s chat with Gray to surprise her with a massive billboard in Times Square celebrating the fifth season of the show and Tamron’s success, announcing that, next to Oprah Winfrey, Tamron is the only network news journalist of a solo talk show to reach the fifth season milestone.
