Happy Monday everyone! I hope you will have a fantastic week! I wanted to share with you guys a few pics from my Annual Girls Night In event that took place on Sunday, June 14th in Buckhead at a private location. Thanks to friend Christina Johnson, I was able to finally have this event because our weather has been pretty crazy with all the rain and I wanted this years event somewhat outdoors lol. I asked my guests to all come in cute kaftans just to add a bit of fun and it turned out so well. With great summer salads, signature cocktails, yummy desserts, I have to say it was a huge hit!
Lots of people want to come to this intimate affair that I do but I like to keep them very small because that way the ladies can all bond, hear each other speak and get to know each other. During these Girls Night Ins we talk about life experiences, relationships, fashion, food just whatever comes up! Lots of sharing, laughs and fellowship! But even putting on something as simple as this takes months of preparation and with my hectic schedule and having a family of my own, it still can be stressful. Thats why you guys haven’t seen me do that many events lately, its just too much. I have to take it easy and not over do it. Anyway, everything was lovely and Gail (my event planner) did a fantastic job with all the decor and details! From the flowers to the fun Louboutin cake toppers, to the lip balloons, it all was very cute and so my style, she definitely gets me!
I always tell people to get together a few of your girlfriends and invite them out to your place or a cool venue. You can recreate this event too and it doesn’t have to be super expensive. Find fresh flowers, small plates for food, desserts, pretty glassware, pretty decorations, energetic guests and that’s all you need! You can have a theme party or whatever you like. It’s fun and something to do with great friends and will always be remembered. Enjoy your week! xoxo
These Christian Louboutin cupcake toppers were a huge hit at the party!
