Talking With Tami Girls Night In/End Of Summer 'Disney' Inspired Event

Happy Monday EVERYONE! I had a wonderful time yesterday evening with a few of my really good friends! I held my Annual Girls Night In/End of Summer event held at the W Hotel in downtown Atlanta. This time around I wanted to do something a bit different and also a themed party. I looked on TikTok and noticed that a lot of people have been doing “color themed parties”, it’s been trending for months, so I wanted to give it a try! But I wanted to add a bit of of whimsy to my themed event and that’s when I came up with the idea of having a Disney themed Girls Night In! I called my guests and asked them to come as their favorite Disney character and they all loved it! I was very strategic in picking out women for this event, that would love to play dress up lol.

Also, I asked the ladies to create a charcuterie board to match their favorite Disney character. I gave all the girls a few weeks to prepare and they all did a magnificent job with their looks! I’ve seen online all the controversy with Halle Bailey playing the iconic Disney character Ariel from The Little Mermaid. That’s why I wanted to honor her and I chose to be Ariel too. I had to get used to wearing the reddish colored wig because I’ve never worn red hair before, it was so much fun to dress up lol. A lot of my friends thought it was super cute.
