What inspires your personal style?
Reading mags, looking at fashion online, visiting top fashion sites, looking at street style and going to fashion & beauty blogger conferences like the ones given by Lucky Magazine.
Who are your favorite style celebs?
I absolutely love Solange Knowles’ style, it’s EVERYTHING and Betsey Johnson!
What do you love about ModaMob?
I love how you update and keep fashionistas on trend!
What item of clothing can you absolutely not leave the house without?
I love to wear dresses, I wear them daily. They’re effortless! They put me in a good mood, make me feel feminine and with a great dress, fit and style you can’t go wrong!
We love your bold use of color and accessories. Is there anything you would never be caught wearing?
You won’t catch me in “fugly” shoes. Omg, no ma’am!
Any style and beauty tips for our readers?
I think people need to take a peek inside thrift stores from time to time! You can really find some great pieces in thrift stores and usually it’s vintage, which means it has great bones, good quality fabric and character! For a beauty tip I would suggest wearing lashes! I don’t leave home without them! One thing’s for sure, it’s an instant face-lift when you don’t have time to put on a full face of makeup. It gives your eyes that extra pop!
You often talk about your favorite beauty products on your blog TalkingWithTami. What are your beauty must-haves?
I have to have a great moisturizer! I love Clinique’s moisturizers. I also keep a very sheer lip gloss and mascara from M.A.C. tucked in my purse in case of emergencies. I like to keep the hottest nail color in my car for quick fixes and chips too!
What are some of your favorite places to shop?
I love to shop pretty much anywhere that has Pinktabulous bright and fun things with a great price! I like to mix high and low pieces together. From Target to Nordstrom, Saks to Forever 21, you just never know.
You were showing off some very shiny hair in one of your Instagrams. What hair products do you use?
I use a few items for my hair. I’m really loving Optimum Amla Legend Damage Antidote Oil Moisturizer.
What do we have to look forward to from you and TalkingWithTami?
Look for me to be zipping around on a wild adventure with Ford! I was selected to be one of the elite 100 Ford Fiesta Agents! I will get a chance to travel in a 2014 Ford Fiesta for a year! I’m celebrating my 15-year wedding anniversary in May and my 45th birthday as well as covering some major red carpets in and outside of Atlanta. I just wrapped a guest appearance on Oxygen’s new hit reality show ‘Find Me My Man’ and my future is looking pretty bright right now! Life is Pinktastic!
