Musician and One of Them Days star SZA expresses her desire to collaborate on an album with Kendrick Lamar and gets a surprise from Issa Rae! One of Them Days, set in the Baldwin Village neighborhood of South Los Angeles colloquially named The Jungles, follows one day in the life of besties and roommates Dreux (Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) as they concoct nutty schemes to earn quick cash and evade eviction when they find out Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown all of their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes lol. This is SZA acting debut and it is so nice to see her stepping into new ventures in the new year.
The trailer shows the lengths the two girls go to for their rent money, including donating blood, climbing a telephone pole to retrieve a pair of expensive Jordans, and applying for a loan despite a hilariously low credit score.
