My daughter Dootie was so sweet to buy me this green emerald pleated dress for my birthday! I was surprised when I opened the gift bag and saw it inside. I had saw it weeks prior while we were in H&M browsing around and I guess she remembered that I liked it!
I decided to wear it for my birthday brunch I hosting yesterday and it was perfect for the weather. It was quite warm and even at 12 o’clock noon, it was already 85 degrees out, yikes! I have stopped trying to really get dressed up for occasions here in the south because your hair & makeup is ruined by the time you arrive to your event from sweating so much, even with the air conditioning on in your car. That’s why lots of my pics look crazy because its very humid here and in minutes your look can go from glam to no mam lol! So Ive warned you guys in advance! This dress is sold out on H&M site, it was a very popular item and my Denae sandals from JustFab are on sale now for $19.95. I’m glad they sent them to me early because when I looked today, they only had a size 9 left, if you love them and that’s your size, grab them now lol! Happy Monday! xoxo
