Coldplay(who’s one of my all-time favorite groups) was the first band to perform on Jimmy Kimmel’s first show 20 years ago! I listened to their album a lot and my kids know all the songs when I would pop in their cd on road trips!
George Clooney joined Jimmy and co-host Snoop Dogg on their 20th Anniversary show. George talked about being Jimmy’s first guest on the first show ever in 2003, what he remembered from that night, pictures of him through the years, being given a Kennedy Center Honor, Matt Damon honoring him during the ceremony, Snoop’s Hollywood Star Ceremony, pranking his celebrity friends, the time Jimmy surprised George and Hugh Laurie during an ER reunion on our show, and Jimmy surprises him with some old clips.
Chris Martin and Coldplay returned to celebrate our 20th anniversary with an amazing rooftop performance of “Clocks!” Unfortunately for Matt Damon, they were unable to make time for him on our 20th Anniversary show, it was hilarious! See more pics and video clip inside….
