The new reality show will air in 2014 and the cameras will shadow the singing trio as they balance their careers, marriages, friendships, write new music and more. The announcement took place over the weekend at the Essence Music Festival at the SuperDome while the ladies performed. I knew of this news months ago but waited for the press release to come out lol.
“The journey of SWV is the kind of real and personal comeback story our viewers love to see,” said Lauren Gellert, WE tv’s senior vice president of original production and development. “These dynamic women experienced enormous success together, then it all fell apart. United again, the stakes are higher than ever, and so – at times – is the drama and tension. We can’t wait to present this fresh, new series to WE tv viewers.”
It will be an one-hour unscripted show with 6 episodes produced by Entertainment One Television. I’m very happy for the ladies! I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Coco a few years back and for those of you that are avid readers of the blog, you know that Taj George and I are really good friends. This will be Tajs third time doing reality tv, we all loved her and her hubby on Tv One’s “I Married A Baller” and she was also on “Celebrity Survivor” .
