Today, Sherri Shepherd sat down with Inside Edition host, Deborah Norville. Norville recalled the time she spent one week in jail as an experiment for her show. Sherri compared her jail time to Deborah’s saying there was nothing “pleasurable about her experience” and hilariously revealed that her underwear even got stolen while she was there! Deborah: [On her experiment in jail] It was so eye-opening. There were two moments that were pleasurable for me. I was locked up on Valentine’s Day. They gave me a piece of chocolate cake with white frosting on it. And by day four … I took a shower. And that was nice. Every other moment was uncomfortable, frightening, bewildering, not pleasant.
Sherri: But you used it to shed a light on that. I can’t remember any pleasurable experiences. Because someone stole my underwear. And I remember I had to go over and ask because they were hanging right on her bed. And everyone was trying to instigate it saying, “Big Mama took your underwear.”
Deborah Norville: Can I ask how they got it?
Sherri: Because we had to wash it every day and put it over the bed, and she took it!
