I’ve been binge watching And Just Like That and have mixed feelings on it but its not bad at all! The fashions are insane and I love how they have dressed Carrie Bradshaw thru the second season! Some of the looks were pretty over the top but what really caught my eye last night after watching was Carrie saying goodbye to her single-girl apartment! “The Last Supper” scene with her dolled up in the black and white checkered board sequins dress was everything and so memorable…what a finale!
That’s the way you end a season with that darn dress on your brain! Wardrobe Stylist Molly Rogers & Danny Santiago have a great eye for fashion.They said it was such a send off and they went to Oscar de la Renta’s showroom where they starting grabbing garments from the Fall 2023 collection. They were allowed to use them for 24 hours.
The sheer bolero was a vintage blouse that they redesigned. They said the look pulled all together created such a buzz online, yes it did!
They went on to tell In Style magazine…”I hope everyone enjoyed the clothing at the dinner party. I thought it was a rich tableau visually. There’s a little easter egg at the party. Lisette is wearing the same pink heels that Carrie had on in a previous episode during a shopping spree. We imagined that Carrie gifted them to her. Pass her the baton, so to speak.” More inside….
