Charlotte, is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina. It’s modern city center (Uptown) is home to the Levine Museum of the New South, which explores post–Civil War history in the South, and hands-on science displays at Discovery Place. Uptown is also known for the NASCAR Hall of Fame, which celebrates the sport of auto racing through interactive exhibits and films.
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to drive the all-new Chevy Blazer to this great city and check out a few restaurants, stay at a very nice hotel (with a fab view) and stroll through downtown Charlotte. I had an amazing time with family and friends. If you plan on visiting, I have a list of places you should check out. Hoping you have a blessed day everyone. xoxo

I got to meet and hang out with world-renowned artist Lavarne Ross! He’s from Flint, Michigan and has painted tons of iconic imagery of African American art and culture. I got a chance to chat with him about his art work and all the museums, funeral homes, prestigious homes, movie sets and other places his art is hanging in. He is the sweetest and kindest man and full of knowledge. You can visit his website to see his legendary art and more! Www.lross.com
Lavarne Ross is an internationally known artist. His prints are seen everywhere in the United States and abroad. Lavarne is a native of his beloved Flint, Michigan. Lavarne states, “I was born an artist”. This is a god-given talent that I feel really blessed to be part of, because I feel “Art” is “Me” it is “Us”. Lavarne does more with his artwork than appeal to the visual senses, he relays a message, tells a story, or reveals a part of history. Viewers of his compositions marvel at the fluid images of his most popular series, “Dancers” in which some are depicted as flowers, and translucent material that grace each canvas.
