Lincoln Partnered with ESSENCE to Commemorate Black Women in Music

The Lincoln Motor Company served as a presenting sponsor for ESSENCE’s 7th Annual Black Women in Music event in Los Angeles. The 2016 ESSENCE Black Women in Music event celebrated this year’s GRAMMY® nominees The 2017 Lincoln MKZ and the all-new Continental shared the red carpet with celebrity arrivals, like Andra Day and Jazmine Sullivan.

The Lincoln Motor Company was the exclusive automotive sponsor for ESSENCE’s 7th Annual Black Women in Music event in Los Angeles at Avalon Hollywood this past Thursday for the seventh consecutive year.

This year’s event celebrated 2016 GRAMMY® nominees with special performances from Andra Day and Jazmine Sullivan, with Adam Blackstone and The BBE All-Star Band.

The ESSENCE Black Women in Music event, now in its seventh consecutive year, is noted as one of the must-attend events kicking off GRAMMY® weekend.

  1. All the ladies look really nice. MC Lyte looks amazing. Love Jazmine’s skirt. I need a new look from Tweet. It feels the same year after year. While I like Andra Day’s style I want to see something youthful once and a while.
