Before I get into the recap of my appearance on Atlanta & Co yesterday morning, I wanted to share something with you guys! On my vision board that I created for 2014, I had on there that I wanted to do more tv stuff like ol times. That very thing has come to life for me. Not only did I appear on CBS Better Mornings a few weeks ago, then I got a call a few days ago and was asked if I could come on Atlanta & Co which is another local talk show. I can’t believe all the blessings that have been coming my way. I have a few opportunities that I can’t talk about right now but stay tuned. If you have a dream of doing something like this guys, write it down first, pray on it and watch it manifest! God will do it for you! Plus add in professionalism, a good personality, flexibility and you should be on your way!
In the media world, things work extremely fast in this type of business. There is NO two week notice, most things happen within hours or a few days. If you have a very flexible schedule like mine, then this may be the career for you! We wing a lot of things and it takes a super creative team and support to get the job done! You have to also be able to share contacts and network your butt off! That’s what happen when I was asked to be a model last minute for an up coming segment on Atlanta & Co. It was a segment about ice cream and feeling cool and what to wear while entertaining your guests. Style expert Nyssa Green of The Green Room Agency and event planner Sean O’Keefe put their brains together to come up with the perfect solution. They always show regular sized models on tv, so this time they wanted to feature plus size gals, since we like to entertain too! They used wardrobe looks from my friend Angela who’s co-owner of Twelve 24 Boutique. The show came together really nicely and everyone loved our looks! Check out a few snaps/video below and again thanks to the staff at NBC Studios, Atlanta & Co and Nyssa from The Green Room Agency for inviting me out! xoxo
