Tv Producer Carlos King had the opportunity to sit down with Tv Diva Kenya Moore! The Detroit friends chopped it up on EVERYTHING from Porsha Williams to NeNe Leakes to Phaedra Parks and being underrated. Kenya also opened up about her mom as she sheds a lot of tears! I didn’t realize that Carlos was from Detroit as well, I never knew that!
She talked about how her mom said that she would destroy her for the rest of her life! She told her that she didn’t have a daughter and that she never had a child. That must have been heartbreaking. She told Kenya she would dog her for the rest of her life and she would never be her friend! Her mom had her as a teenager, about 16 years old.
“Little Miss Black Star” was her first pageant at 13 years old. The second pageant she won at 16 years old. and She went on to say that she was dating a guy 11 years older than her. He was a predator but she didn’t realize it at the time. Her mom called the pageantry director and revealed that Kenya was dating an older man to try to destroy her name and to take her crown. There were many occasions where she tried to sabotage her.
Kenya went on to go to college to study Psychology because she knew her mom had mental illness and she wanted to know what was going on with her. She then went on to talk about NeNe and how she enjoyed working with her and how they made magic together on camera good or bad.
