Rapper Method Man’s Daughter Is Starting A Musical Career

Method Man sat down with Live Kelly and Mark today! The iconic rapper talked about his daughter embarking on a musical career and what advice he shared with her. Method Man and Mark also had something in common and that was that Method and Mark bond over being “Gym Bros!”

Method Man is a key member of the influential hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, known for their innovative style and impact on the genre. Beyond music, Method Man has a successful acting career, starring in movies like “How High” and TV shows such as “The Wire” and “Power Book II: Ghost.”
He released his debut solo album “Tical” in 1994, which went platinum and included the hit single “Bring the Pain.”

Method Man won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1996 for the song “I’ll Be There for You/You’re All I Need to Get By” with Mary J. Blige. He’s a huge fan of comic books and even co-wrote a graphic novel called “Method Man.” His nickname “Method Man” comes from the slang term “method” which was a reference to marijuana, a nod to his fondness for cannabis.

He has collaborated with a wide range of artists across genres, including Redman, Notorious B.I.G., Limp Bizkit, and more. Method Man has done voice acting for video games, including “Def Jam: Fight for NY” and “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.”
