Pinky Review: Red Carpet Hair Design

A friend of mine that I haven’t seen in awhile hit me up on Instagram and asked me to come by for a hair service yesterday. I love getting my hair done and have lots of friends in the hair business here in Atlanta but by me living so far away from all the hottest hair salons, its hard for me to support them. I told you guys that I’ve just opted out to just do my hair at home, to cut down on the commute to Atlanta, dealing with the horrid traffic plus having too many people in my hair.

Celebrity Hairstylist Valerie Hamilton owns a Premier 24-hour hair salon called, Red Carpet Hair Design in the heart of Atlanta. Its right on Peachtree St minutes away from Gladys Knight Chicken & Waffles. She has done my hair numerous amount of times for photoshoots and I was happy to stop by and have her style my hair. I haven’t been to her salon in about a year and a half, so it was good to catch up with her and see the changes that she made to her space.

What I like about Valerie is that she is fast, she is knowledgeable about keeping hair healthy and she can do some hair, hands down! I don’t get much done to my hair as we all know but it felt good to have someone else tackle my natural hair and I could relax! If you plan on visiting the city or live here and looking for someone to do your hair, you should give Val a try! She does full sew-ins, color, cuts, relaxers, natural hair treatments, brows, makeup, and so much more! She gave me a shampoo, deep conditioner and style and afterwards my hair felt very silky!
