As you know I attended the red carpet premiere of Cinderella in Hollywood and it you’ve been under a rock here is my experience as far as that lol. I actually took my daughter Dootie to see the movie on Wednesday night and she smiled all the way through it and to get a teenage girl to sit through a movie without fiddling around and feigning for her cellphone, I knew this movie was going to be good lol.
Without giving too much away, I want to tell you guys that yes, I am a glam girl and I love all things girly but if you have daughters, nieces, or dear friends that have little girls, you may want to head out today or this weekend to check it out! You will not regret it. Even if you are a big kid at heart and go alone, you will enjoy this film so much! In Hollywood, we got a chance to interview the main characters in the film and talk with the Director of the movie. Mr. Kenneth Branagh stayed true the real essence of this true iconic fairytale and although you know what’s going to happen, there are some scenes in the movie with different twists and turns! It’s shot so beautifully too. It’s really magical but let’s get to the costumes and scenery in the film shall we…
They both were extravagant and breathe taking, I must say and if you love fashion like I do, you will almost want to jump through the ceiling when you see Cate Blanchett sashay on to the screen each time and kill it! OH MY Gosh costume designer Sandy Powell deserves an Oscar for the creations she made up for Lady Tremaine and also for Cinderella! The movie opens today nationwide and I really hope you get a chance to go see it! Not because I want you to see it but because every girl dreams of being a Princess and this movie makes you really think of chivalry, how to court the right way and how to demand respect, keep your dignity, be kind, courageous and let’s not forget…how to act like a lady! It’s for women of all ages too! I give this move an A+. Always remember to “have courage and be kind!” See you at the movies! xoxo
