Boy what a day! My daughter Dootie has worn me out and for those of you that have more than one daughter, I give it up to you! LOL! It all started at 6am when Dootie came in my room smiling ear to ear saying, “mom its my prom today and it looks like its going to be a nice day out!” We were praying that it didn’t rain but it called for sunny skies here in Atlanta. Yay! We then had a million errands to run and she had also booked a few clients of her own to do hair & makeup. I was surprised that she wanted to actually work on her prom day but she loves to make that money. After she finished doing a few faces and heads, we headed to makeup artist Alex’s house where she did Dootie’s face. I loved her beauty look which was very soft and natural looking, just what she wanted.
Time was flying by but we managed to make it back home where Dootie started to get dressed and headed outdoors for a few pics. I must say I really loved how the dress turned out designed by Reco Chapple. He did an amazing job and made her dreams come true. She wanted her dress to be very elegant and classy but not too fussy. Dootie loves pink just like her mom and the color looked so pretty on her, just like a pretty Princess.
Her boyfriend Keonte headed over to the house shortly afterwards and they took a few more pictures. This special prom day definitely makes for a great Pinktastic Saturday, don’t you agree? I am exhausted, so excuse me if I am a bit brief but check out a few pics I snapped and if you have a teen going to prom too, I’m going to say a prayer for you because I know I am financially and mentally drained right now, LOL! Enjoy… xoxo
