Reality diva Phaedra Parks and pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy wowed the audience with their Foxtrot to “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls on Dancing with the Stars’ Oscars Night. As a friend of the blog, I’m cheering for Pha Pha to win! She truly shined during her performance, earning a solid score of 21 out of 30. The judges were impressed, and I can’t imagine the nerves that come with dancing in front of the world!
Phaedra and Val have great chemistry, and their funny TikTok skits show they’re having a blast together. That’s how you play the game! Phaedra knows how to build meaningful relationships from every opportunity. Her networking skills are top-notch, and it’s clear she has a savvy approach to her career—just look at her Emmy win for The Traitors!
On the flip side, during last night’s show, host Julianne Hough asked contestant Anna Delvey what she would take away from her experience, and her blunt response of “nothing” was quite the shock. Why even compete if you’re not invested? It seemed like she was just taking up space. Her lack of enthusiasm didn’t sit well with the dance voters either, and ultimately, she and her ankle bracelet were sent home. It’s a missed opportunity for redemption, especially given her past.
Phaedra has truly mastered the art of making connections, and it’s her vibrant personality that keeps propelling her forward. I’d love to hear your thoughts on her performance—did any moments stand out to you? Check out more photos and video clip of Pha Pha dancing the Foxtrot inside.
