I forget that Nick Cannon has a talk show and don’t remember what network it airs on here in Atlanta but he recently had singer and reality star Kandi Burruss on his daytime talk show to discuss the new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and her Broadway show. Nick Cannon: “How did you get involved from the beginning?”
Kandi Burruss: “We were all on board and wanted to work together to help take this show to the next level. I am so proud of this show. Especially with what was happening last year, I just felt like people look at black men as one note. We’ve been seeing negative images in the media for years and years. We need to bring shows like this to the stage, to television so people can see there’s more to black men.”
Kandi Burruss Continues: “With this situation…we have the first show that’s starring 7 black men, then we have a black writer, black director, and a black producing team.”
