Toi and I
Today my good friend Toi(Torrian Denise) lost her husband today. Something was heavy on my heart to reach out to her because I haven’t heard from her in a couple of weeks. You know how you keep hearing that lil voice telling you, call your friend. Well just 2 days ago I did just that. We talked and she told me that her hubby had another kidney transplant and that he wasn’t doing well.

She said that the first liver rejected him so he had another surgery. She sounded exhausted and I wish I was there for her. She was in good spirits when I talked with her but I can tell she was beat down. They have a lil son Bryce who my heart goes out to. We’ve been friends for quite awhile and we were pregnant with our sons at the same time and almost delivered our kids at the same time too. She is an entreprenuer and has her on beauty product called Dornee thats named after her mom, who lost her battle with cancer a few years ago. She always calls me and cheers me on and says, “hows my Tami doing?”, she is so sweet!
She had to take off work to take care of her husband and she even said the doctor bills were thru the roof, reaching close to half a million dollars. I didn’t even know one could have a doctor bill for that much. He had been in intensive care for about one month plus with all the surgeries. She married her best friend and my heart goes out to her in this time of need.
