Singer Monica stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show today! She told Jennifer why she decided to do “Verzuz” with Brandy and how she ended up co-writing her recent single “Letters” with Ciara. Plus, the singer shares plans to release a country album.

Jennifer later told Monica how much she looked up to her as a singer as the pair bond over being signed by Clive Davis. Then Jennifer talked to Monica’s 16-year-old son Romelo in the audience and learned what it’s like for the teenager to attend events with the “basketball mom.”
