Although I was not an avid reader of the blog site Concrete Loop, it was sad to find out that Angel Laws who was the creator of the site, has decided to shut down her famous blog. I found out the sad news yesterday on Facebook. I can remember when she first launched it. I had met a writer from her blog here in Atlanta name Brian and he was always so upbeat and talked about the site a lot. He was a college student back then. I wonder what he is up to now? He covered all things music and interviewed lots of artists for the site. Although I’m not a huge fan of blogging about music and up and coming artists, lots of people went to Angel’s site to read about all things music and pop culture. She didn’t go into detail about why she decided to close Concrete Loop but I wish her well.

I tell people all the time it’s extremely hard to run a blog and it can be very expensive but we keep at it because we are passionate about it but trust me, it can burn you out for sure! The demands, favors, editing images, staff, covering events and more can be mind boggling! Angel is also an accomplished author and launched a very successful book on blogging called, Angel’s Laws of Blogging that’s still available on Amazon! I never got a chance to meet her in person but many years of success to her! xoxo
