Mary J Blige's #TheLondonSessions Private Viewing In Atlanta

On Monday, November 10th R&B Singer Mary J Blige made an appearance in Atlanta to promote her new album The London Sessions at The Buckhead Theatre. The intimate private viewing of her documentary for her new album was shown then there was an in-person interview with Mary J Blige conducted by Stephen Hill. In the film we saw behind the scenes footage of her writing songs, collaborating with artists such as Sam Smith, new age producers and so much more! Mary then talked about her inspiration for the new project, her struggles, working with music execs, fears and the music industry in a whole!

It was a very moving experience for me watching her film. For someone who is not really a big music fan, I really admire her hustle and how she tries so hard stay on top of the charts when the music industry is forever changing. I found her to be very inspirational and real! Just a tidbit for you guys, she completed the whole album within 3 weeks, wow that’s hard work and dedication right there. After the q&a we then had a private meet & greet with her where we got to take a few snaps. Mary is the sweetest person and I truly LOVE her spirit! At the event she was also presented with the Phoenix Award & Proclamation From The City of Atlanta, she was so surprised! Check out more images after the jump!
