Hello my lovelies! It was a pretty day out yesterday and I was headed to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and wanted to look pretty jazzy, so I pulled out a dress I custom designed a few weeks back. I think you guys remember me talking about a company where you can create your very own dress called, Piol. There was a cute Gucci dress from the Fall 2014 Collection that I totally fell in love with but we all know that those designer looks can be EXTREMELY expensive, so I thought to recreate the same look but for a way cheaper price!
So here is the Gucci dress that I really loved from the Fall runway show. We all know I love vintage looks and this took me back to the 60’s era with the whole “mod style” with the go-go boots. I loved this dress and the shade of pink which is my all-time favorite color. I said to myself, I think I can recreate this, so I headed over to Piol dress and designed my very own, with the Gucci dress being my inspiration. I liked the high collar, so I kept that and added a cap sleeve, longer length for the skirt and I was done, in about five minutes tops! After custom designing my dress, Piol made it for me and I received it two weeks ago. From start to finish it takes about three weeks for delivery. I think my design came out pretty good and it fits my body great from the measurements I gave them! I headed out to my event and once I arrived, everyone loved my custom dress! Check out more images of how I styled it and thanks to Piol for giving me another opportunity to rock a designer look for less! xoxo
