Congrats goes out to rapper Lizzo! She came to slay at the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards and shook up the competition! First let’s talk about that big pretty red tulle designer gown she wore for the gold carpet, it was show stopping for sure and because she picked out this dress, I’m assuming she was coming to play no games and win lol!
Lizzo took home the award for Best Reality Competition Show for “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” and dethroned “RuPaul ‘s Drag Race”…gasp! The show was about 13 women who competed for jobs as backup dancers for the Grammy-winning music superstar.
Lizzo accepted the Emmy and said, “When I was a little girl, all I wanted to see was me in the media. Someone fat like me. Black like me.
