Grammy Award Winning Artist Lizzo returned to SNL on Saturday night as the musical guest. She paid homage and recreated the iconic Annie Lee’s Blue Monday with her set of “Break Up Twice”. The tribute was beautiful and I had no clue that Lizzo had pipes like that, great job! The photo has been so iconic in the African American community throughout the years and has been seen in paintings all over the world.
The “Blue Monday” popular and timeless edition work of art depicts an African America woman rising on Monday morning tired but ready to keep on keeping’ on.
