Hey everyone! Last Friday night, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the VIP Grand Opening of Kicky Mats Atlanta! If you haven’t heard of them yet, they were recently spotlighted on Meta and in Beyoncé’s Black-Owned Brands Marketplace—how cool is that?
The fabulous Amber Reign Smith, an actress and entrepreneur known for her roles in Tough Love: Atlanta, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and the upcoming Netflix series Beauty in Black (produced by the legendary Tyler Perry!), hosted the event.
This night was an absolute blast! Kicky Mats is finally making its debut in Atlanta, and I got to design my very own one-of-a-kind mat. Perfect timing—I’ve been needing a new welcome mat for my front door!
Imagine a “sip and paint” vibe, but with mats! As I brought my custom design to life, I explored different sensory rooms filled with delicious hors d’oeuvres and crafted cocktails. I also met some incredible women throughout the night. With curated music setting the perfect backdrop, it was a fabulous evening brimming with creativity, flavor, and fantastic energy!
