Last week I was invited to check out Kathleen Plate’s collection.You may have seen her jewelry line made from recycled bottles but now she has ventured out into a home collection! She is very talented and I remember meeting her last year at Laura Seydel Turner’s eco-friendly mansion at a trunk show. Now she has created glass chandeliers,lamps,sculptures,wall installations and glass curtains.

Kathleen’s work is very chic and hip! I love her collection, which is displayed inside of Environment Furniture. I had a great time seeing some of my cool friends on the scene like Jayda Boo, Vincent Martinez and Cinda Boomershine who you guys may remember from the show I did on Hgtv’s Deserving Design with Vern Yip. Cinda painted all those stripes on my walls lol. It was great mingling with everyone and the bites by Organic Eatz were scrumptious! I also got to meet actress Katerina Graham who is starring in The Vampire Stories. she was cool and loved her heels! Check out the pics and I would like to thank Amanda Leesburg for the invite!
