Kate Winslet For Vogue

I just received my copy of the November issue of Vogue and I was happy to see actress Kate Winslet on the cover! Nothing like seeing a mature woman all glammed up, I think the media forgets about us sometimes lol. In this issue that hits newstands soon, Kate opens up about her new husband, new baby and new movies!

Could you guys imagine the stress one must be under to prepare for a photoshoot for a huge magazine like Vogue? I always wonder, how do they handle it? Do they go to spas and get facials, peels, waxings etc? I wonder do Anna Wintour give the cover models strict details as to what and what not to do before a shoot? I would love to be a fly on the wall to hear how they put these cover shoots together! Have you ever imagined that? Sidenote: I remember when I went to Jamaica for a press trip. The lady at the front desk at the hotel was checking me in but she kept gazing at my Vogue magazine that I was holding. She admired the magazine and told me she loved fashion. I said, “don’t you get this magazine here?” She said no and to order it would be almost impossible and that she would probably never receive it plus it would cost a fortune. I hadn’t even opened it yet but gladly gave it to her as a gift. You should have seen her eyes, they were full of joy!
